Cashier Login

The purpose of cashier login is to restrict users with access to cash book options from processing cash book transactions. It also creates an audit trail by linking the cashier to a cashbook transactions when a transaction is created by the cashier.

Users with access to cash book options are allowed to query cash book transactions but only cashiers are allowed to process cash book transaction.Cashiers with update access to an option are restricted to the type of cash book transactions they can process through the cashier powers as defined in option {FCTM-2} and by restricting a cashier to a cash book, restriction type FCTI - "Ct&Cb Cashier Id Restriction" in option {FCSM-4}. The login screen will validate that the cashier id entered is linked to the user logged on.The screen will either pop-up when a user enters a screen in the cash book system or can be called from a login button.

Field	Type & Length	Description
Cashier ID	A20	The cashier ID as defined in the option {FCTM-2} "Maintain Cashier ID and Passwords". The cashier id will be written away with all cash book transactions generated by the cashier.
Password	A6	The cashier password as set in {FCTM-2} and /or update by the cashier in {FCTO-1}. Cashier password should be kept secure by the cashier and should only be known by the cashier.
