Send Bulk SMS's {GSMS-2}


This programme will create the ASCII file that will be sent to ITS for forwarding to Foneworx. The user will be asked to select a sequence number from a list of sequence numbers specified.  For more information regarding this option please refer to: Bulk SMS.


- The program checks first if the U(ser) running GSMS-2 is linked to BULKSMS (GSMSAPI-1 (Account Relationship block)).
- If not, the program  will use the (D)epartment  the user is linked to.

Processing
Rules		  
  This program will validate a given mobile phone number (Cell Number) as defined in Maintain Bulk SMS's {GSMS-1}. The program will correct the number as follows;

  • Remove Spaces
  • Keep the + sign and remove the underscore
  • Remove the second + sign
  • The total length my not exceed 12
